Colitis

The colitis is an inflammation of the colon. The disease is the result of a prolonged irritation and inflammation of the membrane that separates the walls of the colon. A chronic colitis is a severe prolonged inflammation of the colon and large intestine, in which ulcers form on the walls of the colon.

Natural Remedies for Colitis

Colitis: treat with banana

One or two ripe bananas consuming each day is one of the most effective natural remedies for ulcerative colitis . They are easily digestible and slightly laxative, thus promoting the process of healing of colitis.

Cure it with the whey

A glass of whey daily is another effective remedy for ulcerative.

The coconut as a remedy for ulcerative

Drink coconut water every day helps in the treatment of colitis . It acts as a tranquilizer of the colonic mucosa.

The apple

Apples help in the treatment of ulcers, due to their high concentration of iron and phosphorus.

Rice

The rice has a large fibrous content, therefore acts as a tranquilizer and then natural cure for colitis . Mix a handful of rice with a glass of whey and a ripe banana and consume the solution once a day.

Symptoms

The colitis usually begins in the lower part of the colon, and expands upwards. The first symptom is an increase of bowel movement, followed by retaliation of the stomach and, at times, the presence of blood in the stool.
As the disease expands upwards, the stools become more liquid and frequent. The loss of blood and fluids of the intestine causes weakness, fever, nausea, vomiting epLoss of appetite.
Other symptoms of colitis are feeling bloated, constipation and insomnia.

Causes

One of the main causes of colitis is chronic constipation.
Other causes are poorly digested fiber (grains and carbohydrates), the use of laxatives and antibiotics and stress.

Diet for colitis

Diet plays a very important role in the treatment of colitis.
Consume much juice of papaya and carrot, vegetable, rice and homemade cheese.
Avoid white sugar, too seasoned foods, and alcohol.
