Bruising
When a person suffers a collision with an object or another person, or fall while walking, it is possible that the skin looks a hematoma (a dark spot, also known as bruising) due to trauma.Bruising may also occur due to problems of blood clotting.
Natural Remedies to get rid of the bruises
The ice
To reduce the inflammation of the area affected by a hematoma just apply ice wrapped in a towel, or you can soak the same towel in cold water.
Meat
The flesh applied to a bruise is more myth than an effective remedy: if cold, or better yet frozen, acts more or less as ice.
The marigold
Boil a handful of crushed leaves of marigold in a pint of water for 15 minutes. Then dip a towel and apply it on the affected area of the bruise. It ‘important that the area remains moist throughout the duration of the treatment.
Vinegar
Place in the freezer a glass with vinegar for 10 minutes. Soak in the same vinegar (now cold) a towel and apply it on the affected area.
Arnica
The leaves of arnica are a great natural remedy for bruises. Just boil a handful of leaves of arnica in a glass of water and soak a cloth, which is then applied sull’ematoma.
