The chicken pox is a highly contagious disease, which mainly affects children usually aged between 3 and 4 years. In most cases, the more advanced the age of the child, the stronger the symptoms of the attack of chickenpox.

Treat chickenpox with oatmeal

A bath of oatmeal is considered a natural remedy that relieves itching caused by chickenpox . Cooking two cups of oatmeal in two liters of water for fifteen minutes, then put everything in a cloth bag, preferably cotton. Immerse the bag in a tub full of warm water, and move it until the water becomes turbid. Dip the child with chickenpox in the tub and let the water from dripping all parts of the body affected by the disease.

The water of peas

The water of peas is another natural remedy very effective to decrease irritation of the skin.The water used to cook the peas should be applied on the parts of the body affected by the disease.

Baking soda

Baking soda is a very popular remedy to control the itching caused by chickenpox. Put a little ‘of baking soda in a glass of water, and then wash the child with a sponge dipped in this solution previously. Dry out the skin and prevent the child scratch the rash.

Treat chickenpox with honey

The use of the exterior has proven to be very efficient for varicella. Apply honey on the skin affected by the disease, it will help to cure it.

Symptoms of chickenpox

The symptoms of chickenpox generally start with a low-grade fever, a headache and a feeling of weakness.
On the first day of illness appear a rash in the form of tiny red spots on the skin, especially on the shoulders or upper chest. In more severe cases may appear rash on the face or on the other end. The papules turn into blisters and then to pustules and then fall. Regenerate throughout the disease, so that while some dry, other grow back. The duration of the disease may extend from ten to twenty-one days, but generally between the ages of fourteen and seventeen days.

Causes

Chickenpox is caused by a virus.

Diet

Consume many fruit juices during chickenpox. Lemon juice is considered to be particularly useful.
