Otitis

The ‘ otitis , or ear infection, is one of the most common reasons for the visit to a specialist.There are two main types of this infection: otitis media and otitis externa. Otitis media is the ‘ear infection medium, which affects mainly infants and children. Otitis externa is an infection of the outer ear. The ear infection is more common among males and during the winter. It is not contagious.
