Goiter

The goiter (also known as struma), is the swelling of the thyroid gland in the neck. Women are more prone to this disease than men. Here are some natural remedies to cure goiter.

Treat goiter with iodine

Iodine is undoubtedly useful to treat goiter , but must be consumed in its organic form.Consume plenty of all foods that contain iodine, such as lettuce, carrot, garlic, onion, pineapple, rice, tomatoes, strawberries and seafood.

The dandelion

The dandelion (also known as dandelion, the “bellows”) is an effective natural remedy to treat goiter . Oil the leaves of this vegetable in butter, then heat them and place them on the swollen areas, for about two weeks.

Symptoms

The initial symptom of goiter can be an emotional disturbance, which may increase as the disease takes hold.
Other symptoms of endemic goiter may be loss of concentration, irritability and depression. The thyroid gland may swell but this has nothing to do with the severity of the disease.

Causes of goiter

The disease is endemic goiter due to iodine-deficient diet. The thyroid gland makes use of organic iodine in its secretion. The disease primarily affects goiter who adopted a diet of natural foods, raw or poorly cooked.

  1. You need to see an endocrinologist. There are a nmbuer of blood tests to detect thyroid disease and your doc may be missing a crucial one. In light of the goiter you say you have, you should at least be getting a thyroid scan or ultrasound as well. There’s more to diagnosing a thyroid disorder than just blood tests.
